Coronavirus Update (COVID-19)

Beloved parishioners, the Catholic Church in England & Wales has suspended public worship and sessions in churches beginning this Friday 20th March. It is a very sad time but God is not unaware. All parish gatherings and events are consequently suspended till further notice.

The priests will celebrate Masses in private at the normal Mass times and all are encouraged to join in spirit from wherever you are.

However, the weekly adoration will continue every Friday without mass from 10 am to 10 pm. The church will remain open when and where possible for private devotions & prayers with adequate social distance maintained at all times.

All parishioners who are in self-isolation and who need help with errands should please call the parish line 02086843013. All fitter parishioners who are able to run the errands should please indicate by calling the parish line or texting the mobile 07999693052. Every transaction MUST be done with the requisite hygiene and social distance.

Aside the Masses, we, your priests will be praying for you and your families at this difficult time. The parish office will be available to provide essential services especially booking of Masses which is encouraged at this time. “I am with you always until the end of time” says Jesus (Matthew 28:20)

Frs Emmanuel Ahua, C.S. Sp, Hyacinth Edokwe, C.S. Sp and James Raj (your priests).

SAFEGUARDING

Please be aware that it is your responsibility to keep your children with you in Church at all times. As well as safeguarding issues there are all sorts of health and safety hazards around the Church and we would hate anything to happen to a child who has wandered from your care.
