Message From Fr. Emmanuel Ahua, C.S. Sp – Parish Priest

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well and still keeping the faith. As the national lockdown is once again eased tomorrow, 2 December, I wish to gladly inform you that the doors of St. Andrew’s Church, Thornton Heath would be opened Thursday, 3 December for our usual public liturgical celebrations. We are going to maintain, observe and respect the 2 m social distancing and the other necessary COVID 19 rules whenever we gather for any celebration.

With regards to the times for Masses, we are returning to the post COVID 19 Mass times.

The daily Mass from Monday to Friday will be at 7:30 am and 10:00 am.

On Saturday, the daily Mass is still 9:30 am and the Sunday Vigil Mass at 6:00 pm.

On Sunday, the Mass times are; 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 11:30 am & 6:00 pm.

  • Mass: 9:30am, 11:30am, 6:00pm
  • Rosary: 5:00pm – 5:15pm
  • Exposition & Benediction: 5:15pm – 5:45pm

Weekday Mass

  • 7:30am, 10:00am (Rosary following)

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

  • Weekly Friday Adoration from 10.30am – 10pm. Except on First Fridays which is 10.30am – 6.00pm.


  • Mass: 9:30am (Rosary following) 6:00pm
  • Confessions: 10:00am – 10:30am 5:00pm – 5:30pm

Please be aware that it is your responsibility to keep your children with you in Church at all times. As well as safeguarding issues there are all sorts of health and safety hazards around the Church and we would hate anything to happen to a child who has wandered from your care.
